Keabetswe Newel is currently Editor in Chief of The Business Weekly & Review, a role that involves the general management of the company. By age, he is the youngest Editor in Botswana, a role he assumed in October 2020. Prior to that, he was Deputy Editor at The Botswana Gazette Newspaper. Newel has held senior editorial management positions before, in The Business Weekly & Review between 2014 and 2019. He is one of the few business/financial journalists who were head-hunted to lead content development at The Business Weekly & Review during its establishment in 2014. Prior to this, he was a key Business/financial reporter at The Botswana Guardian & The Midweek Sun between 2011 and 2014. He previously worked for the Botswana Press Agency (BOPA) as well as Mmegi & The Monitor Newspapers between 2009 and 2011.
